Datel Advansys has signed an agreement with IBM to deliver their Softlayer Cloud Services.

"This enables us to extend our portfolio by offering Infrastructure and Platform as a Service solutions to our custoemrs in over 30 data centre locations throughout the world. When comined with Datel ADvansys 24x7 monitoring and management capabilities this provides us with a truly global capability" commented David Sheppard Datel's Sales Director.

As well as offering the traditional virtual servers for rapid deployment, Softlayer also has the capability to deliver bare metal solutions allowing customers the use of physical servers to deploy services as they see fit.
